Comrie ~ 'coming together'
by Cainneach McEinri
Language: English
Categories: Fiction » Science Fiction
Content Rating: Older than 17
Comrie is a story of two groups coming together. One group is Sarah and her friends who we met in Mistaken Identity. The second is a group of aliens who survived a premeditated attempt to destroy the space ship and its crew. Due to circumstances, only a small portion of the alien crew survived. Due a lack of a captain, the alien ship enters a hibernation status. This status does provide the surviving crew with limited access to the ship. The incident occurred more than a century before the two groups come together.
Sarah and her friends are abducted and sold to the aliens. When the aliens examine Sarah and her friends, they learn not all is as it should be. They determine that the only way to restore the humans health is by using their medical technology. In doing so, the humans gain some of their characteristics. When Sarah and her friends are up and active, they choose to assist the aliens in restoring their ship.

No context, almost unreadable.

Could of been a decent read. Storyline could have been good. Actual story missed the mark. There is zero context to set it up, very confusing from the beginning.Sorry you feel that way. I presume you didn't take advantage of the preview, which I believe lets you read a significant portion.

I have only read the Prolog and find it difficult to follow. Words are missing from sentences, 'then' is used for 'when' and so on. I may find this is an anomaly as I read the book, but there is really no excuse for not using an editor, especially when charging for the book.
I owe you a thank you. As a result of your comment I looked closely at the published ebook and was shocked to find many wording errors. While I am reasonably certain that I may have read through some of them, certainly not all. As a result, the book was again proof read several times and appropriate corrections made before publishing the 2nd edition. The second edition used a different approach in converting it to an ePUB. Again thank you for your comment, although I would have liked a much more positive one. -) BTW, the book was reviewed by several editors during its creation. The free version is rated as nearly an 8 out of a possible 10 by over 240 readers.
