Caydee Kingsley continues becoming very much her father’s daughter, developing her music, testing the limits of parental authority, and forging a remarkable relationship with the local crow population—with consequences nobody could possibly have anticipated.
There are new beginnings as well. Careers move forward. Love turns up in unexpected places. A young couple prepares to take the biggest step of their lives. And through it all, music remains the thread connecting yesterday to tomorrow.
Epilogue, Volume I is neither a new beginning nor quite an ending. It is what comes afterward: a story about grief without surrender, memory without stagnation, and the stubborn, funny, beautiful persistence of life.
