As usual, humanity is caught off guard. There are few space-capable ships available, and even fewer that are suitable for converting to warships. Given time, humanity would build the fleet they need, but will there be enough time?
What can they do? Can they find allies, can they hold off the distant enemy long enough to do what has to be done?
Humanity does what humans have always done buy time with blood. Recruit allies, convince them to take part in the coming war, and build a fleet of their own.
But will even that be enough to stop the oncoming three-thousand-ship enemy fleet?
