Third book in a great three book series
Reviewed it on March 17, 2026
This book follows the oldest adult children of the original characters. I hope they add the middle book “Shasta’s Tale”. If “Colt45 is still writing, the universe is ripe for several additional books.

I love this story. Nice continuation to Sea King, but there’s actually a book missing as shown on SOL entitled “Shasta Story”, which is the story of the integration of Dent’s fourth wife into his family. I also hope there’s a sequence coming to “Quest For Knowledge.” I remember reading this, along with Sea King, years ago, and even then the next installment had not been written. I’m really glad these books made it on zbookstore.

Must read 'finale' of the 'Sea King' trilogy.

'Sea King', 'Shasta's Tale', and 'Quest for Knowledge' are among my perennial favorites. Highly recommended, must read.
While the three stories in this trilogy are definitely linked, and each tells a different part of the same over-arching story... each story is told from a different protagonist in a different time frame. They are also fully capable to be read individually. A reader of any of them will gain greater perspective if read in order, but nothing is required to enjoy each as if it were a solo tale.
Sadly, it seems as if the author is no longer writing and has likely passed-on.
