She was from a back woods village in Russia. The program she entered was supposed to send her to a family in America, where she'd spend a year studying at an American high school while she stayed with a host family. She was excited to make a new girlfriend and find out what America was really like. But there were bureaucracies involved, and that means there's always room for error. And boy, howdy, was there ever an error. Because of an error, she was sent to live with a boy's family instead of a girl's family. Russia was known to get very upset when changes to the program were asked for, so it was decided she would stay there. She did learn a lot about America and she did study at an American high school, but what she learned about love was the most important part of her visit. She didn't want to go back to Russia when the year was over. In fact, she COULDN'T go back to Russia because it would have caused an international uproar if she did. Russia didn't send her to America pregnant.

Bob’s Best!!

Robert Lubrican excels at writing stories which “have substance. He usually has your attention in a stranglehold within a few paragraphs. Then he proceeds to give enough detail that you make close acquaintances with the characters, understand the plot(s) and plenty of background to maintain interest until as you approach the final chapter or epilogue there hopes the story will just go on forever!!!
