A fizzing Novella following a rather unwordly girl: Catnip, when she meets up with an old friend: Francis, who used to babysit her. Francis invites Catnip to a little walking holiday, much to the annoyance of her boyfriend, who sees Catnip as a hinderance to his intimate plans.
Francis though is playing her own game and tangles Catnip up in a plot to replace her as girlfriend and allow her to escape his controlling clutches.
