I've read the first two installments to this series and wasn't disappointed.

This installment continues the story of our nascent dominant and his struggles to accept his desires and those of his romantic counterparts. His moral dilemmas are understandable as he shuns the shadow of his despicable father, who uses religion to as a justification for his illicit tendencies. Young characters often have to find their way. I'm hoping Andrew comes to accept his nature a bit more in future installments and learns to take what he wants and what is offered. Andrew spends a fair amount of time ruminating why his submissive counterparts are the way they are. Additionally, the author takes an in-depth look as the power exchange relationships which is refreshing and adds much. The characters have depth and keeping wanting to read more. It's been a while since this installment was published so I'm hoping to read more soon.

The continuing story of our protagonist

This is the summer following the first year. The protagonist is faced with more character building challenges and self discoveries. The author does introduce a few characters within the village he grew up in, but the reader is left wondering what happens to them, their purpose. Will they show up in the third installment of this series? What about his continuing relationship with the various other characters?

Again, it’s well written and keeps you wanting more. I’m definitely looking forward to the third book.
