Chapter 1: I'm Inside the Body of a Young Boy

A classroom that I've never been in before, classmates whose faces I've never seen, and the fact that I'm even in a high school classroom filled with school kids, when I've never gone to school, for a day of my life.

Yep...I'm pretty sure I'm not in my original world.

Now some might ask, how all those simple reasons, got to do with me being transported to a different world.

Yes, I'm in a classroom at what seems to be an upper-class high school, sitting next to the window seat, when I should actually be at home, sleeping right now.

Yes, all the students in this class, who are currently happily chatting with one another on their break, are kids I don't know, and would normally never associate myself with.

And of course, I feel strange to be in a classroom, when I've never gotten the opportunity to go to school in my life, and have already missed any chance to join, since I'm already 22 years old.

Adding all this up, and being in the situation I'm in right now, when I clearly remember going to bed after reading a book last night, is definitely a crazy scenario, that would scare anymore out of their mind.

But no matter what, no sane man would ever say that he's in a different world, just because he's in a place he shouldn't be, with no knowledge of how he got there.

That's literally how a man feels, when he wakes up in an alleyway, after a heavy drink the previous night.

No matter how absurd the situation, there should be an equally absurd chain of events that led up to it, which I don't know of.

Like some kind of kidnapping, or that sister of mine, signing me up for some game show, to see my interesting reaction to being put in an unfamiliar place.

But to say that, I've actually been transported to a new world.

Isn't that a bit too much?

Well, other than the fact that I'm in a place I shouldn't be, with no knowledge of how I came here whatsoever, I have two major reasons as to why I believe, that I'm in a different world.

The first reason being that, instead of possessing the body of a 22 year old adult male, I'm currently inside the body of a young 17 year old boy, who's still going through puberty.

Wait, that sounds very wrong when I phrase it like that...

To be exact, instead of looking like an adult with a mature gait and a little stubble on my jaw like I normally do, I currently look like my 17 year old self, from the past.

I found this out, when I first opened my eyes and all of a sudden found myself in this new room, and looked at the window next to me, only to see a reflection of my younger self, instead of the current me.

Slightly long; messy black hair, flawless skin with no facial hair whatsoever, and deep black eyes, that I've seen in a mirror thousands of times.

That's definitely me from a few years ago.

The face I saw in the mirror, lost all the matureness I once had as an adult, and looked like any old teenage boy who just started to become a man, mentally and physically.

The only characteristic remotely similar to my adult self, were my eyes, that looked much more mature, then of the peers around me in this classroom.

The distinctiveness between my eyes and the rest of my face was very clear, and it was kind of out of place, as it gives my image a sense of confidence and slight indifference.

Some might even interpret it as arrogance, written all over my face.

The maturity in my eyes wasn't because I was previously an adult. But is something I've had since I was a child, after having to go through everything I've gone through, since a very young age.

Another aspect of my appearance that has changed, is that all the bruises and scars I had all over my body had somehow vanished.

The skin under my clothes that were tarnished in past wounds and bruises, had somehow all disappeared without a trace, and left me with unblemished skin which was a sight to behold.

I was so surprised at the sight of not seeing any marks on my body, that I started pulling up my uniform, without even thinking that there were still students around me, which made them give me strange looks, and even made some of them chuckle.

I couldn't help myself, since I already knew how I looked when I was younger, but I've never seen myself without some kind of blemish, since a very long time.

It was even more surprising then, looking at my youthful face in the mirror.

Although I know plastic surgery has advanced far and beyond, and can bring about unimaginable face and body transformations, I still don't think it's gone to the level of changing a person's skeletal structure, from an adult to that of a teenager.

Only something otherworldly, can bring about such a miracle.

The second reason I believe I'm in a different world, is even more shocking than my appearance, and is quite straightforward.

When I look at my right, I see a classroom full of school students wearing uniforms, and having the time of their lives, during what seemed to be their lunch break.

They all looked similar to me; and had four limbs, fingers and toes on their hands and feet, an abdomen, a single pair of eyes and ears, a nose, a mouth, and a head full of hair.

They looked like any standard human would, and were humans themselves.

But when I looked to my right, outside the window, towards what seemed to be a park-like area, with freshly mowed lawns and tall trees, where students could be seen sitting down on the grass and eating lunch, or walking around in groups while chatting with one another..I saw humans.

I saw humans who were wearing the standard school uniforms...And most importantly, I also saw human-like beings, who possessed half human and half animalistic or alien features, on their body.

Yes...Human-like beings, that looked like they came out of a fantasy or myth.

Chapter 2: Taking Racial Differences To A Whole Another Level

Some of the half-human creatures I saw, had the same human features above their waists, just like a normal person would, but had their legs covered in fur, and hooves for feet.

Some looked just like humans, but either had colourful scales all over their bodies, horns on their head, or even sharp fangs and fingernails, that looked like daggers from afar.

There were even a few that had characteristics, only animals or aliens would have, like feathered wings on their back, long and flexible tails near their butts, mandibles on their foreheads, and even mermaids with fish tails for legs, who were moving around in what looked to be specialised wheelchair, made just for their kind.

The most crazy of them all were the existences that looked like they were pulled straight out of a magical book, like the being that was composed out of slime, who was reading a book on a bench. Or the small pixie-like creatures, that were flying around the beautiful flowers planted in the garden.

There were simply so many more strange, but intriguing beings, that I simply couldn't begin to describe all of them.

The only common thing that all of these beings had, was that majority or atleast half their features resembled that of a human's.

No matter if they had scales, feathers, hooves, fur, possessed animalistic parts or were made of slime, gas or ice, they all looked human in some sort of way.

Especially with everyone wearing the same uniform as one another, they looked like any normal human-being would, if you looked at them as a whole.

They even acted the same way normal humans would, and were chatting and having great time with their friends, like any carefree school student would.

They were completely civilized, and weren't barbaric in any way, like you would expect an animal to act.

They were basically the same as any old human but looked a little different, almost like how different races of mankind, look different from one another.

Only in my previous world, the usual things that would differ in between races were colour and facial features. But here, in this world, they took racial differences to a whole another level.

Now, even after hearing all that, can you still call me crazy for assuming that I'm in a different world?

You could say that I'm having a weird dream or that I'm in a weird hallucinatory state, where I'm imagining all this, but I would have to deny that right away.

I've lived in the real world for all my life, and I think I have enough experience to distinguish between a dream and reality.

The clear sights that I'm seeing outside the window, the distinct sounds of desks rattling, and the vague smell of delicious food, that was coming from the lunchboxes that were being opened by the kids in the class, are enough to tell me that this is real, and not my imagination.

Not to mention the fact, that I don't have the ability to dream when I sleep.

In fact, not only do I know that I'm in reality, and not some dreamland.

I also think that I know, where and how I came to this place.

I had my suspicions, when I saw the classroom around me and the shocking sight outside, which I vaguely remember from last night. And I only need one last piece, to confirm if what I'm thinking is right.

And this one last piece of the puzzle, should be inside my schoolbag, hanging on my chair.

I took the bag from the back of my chair and opened the zip, to see if what I was looking for was inside.

And sure enough, just like I had guessed, I found what I was looking for.

Inside the bag, were a couple of school textbooks and notebooks used for taking notes and studying, like any normal schoolbag would have.

But in the middle of these books, was a particular book that looked out of place.

It was a medium-sized, white hardcover book, that looked to have around 300 pages.

The reason it stood out from the rest was because of its pure white book-casing, and gold embellishments on its cover and edges, which gave it an ethereal and holy look, as if it were a book dropped down from the heavens itself.

The book looked so holy that, people wouldn't argue with me if I said that this book was sent to me by the gods, and I was holy one's messenger, on a mission to save this sacreligious world.

I took the book out of the bag to take a good look at it, and on the cover I saw the title of the book, which was written in golden words.

'How to Tame Your Demi-Girl'

For a book that looked so holy that it could be considered as a sacred relic, it had a very vulgar name, as if the brain-dead author who wrote this, wanted to rope in readers with a bait title written on it.

But this title and the book that possessed that vulgar name, were enough for me to confirm where I was and how I came here.

After confirming my theory, I streched out my back on my chair, took a deep breath, and relaxed myself.

I was kind of tense at first when I was brought to this place, without any knowledge or consent. But now that I know how all of this came to be, I can finally relax a bit and slowly think this out.

First, I need to refresh my knowledge about where this place is. And not just that, but also what exactly this world is and my purpose for coming here.

Thankfully, all of it was written in the prologue and story of this very novel, I read last night. So, I don't have to go through the hassle of learning about this world from the inhabitants of this world.

Chapter 3: Stop Sucking On Another Planet's Dick

First, I need to mention that I'm not on Earth anymore. And I am on a completely different planet called Aurora.

Aurora has two suns shining on it during the day and three moons appearing at night, compared to the single sun and moon the Earth has.

Knowing this, I don't know if this place is still in the same galaxy as Earth. And honestly, it could even be in a completely different universe.

The planet only has one main continent, which is as big as the entirety of Asia, and some other small islands surrounding it. That one continent is also called Aurora, since back in the day when the inhabitants of this world named everything, they didn't know the existence of planets, and just called the plane they lived in as Aurora.

The world has a rather low population of both human beings and demi-humans; the term beings that are only part human are referred to as in this world, compared to Earth.

The entire population of the world consists of only a bit more than a billion people, and 99% of those people live on the main continent.

While the rest, treat the surrounding small islands as holiday homes or retirement facilities, like the Bahamas or Florida, and reside there.

Now, let's talk about one of the most abnormal aspects of this world.

The weather and climate.

Apparently, the continent is split into multiple small regions, which all have their own type of weather and ecosystem.

For example, there's a small region in the south that is always snowing like a tundra. But right beside and to the west of that place, is another region, which is as dry as a desert and has the same vegetation a desert would have.

I was confused about how two regions that were at the same latitude, and so close to one another, could have such extreme weather conditions while reading the novel. But the contents of the novel, never really mentioned the scientific reason behind that, and only said that certain demi-humans, prefer to live in certain areas due to preferable climate and environmental conditions.

So, each region is mostly populated by a certain species of demi-humans, or a group of them that have similar preferences for where they would like to live.

Most of the continent, is split into these regions where specific races reside, and is how the majority of the population is divided into two, based on landmass.

But there is a single place on the continent where all kinds of species come together and live in harmony, without grouping with their own species, which is the capital city of Eden, present near the Northern Shores.

It's a megacity in the North, that consists of ten percent of the entire population, even though its area of landmass, is only 5% of the entire continent.

From what I found out, it's basically the New York City or California of this world, where everyone in the world wants to move, since it's the cultural and technological hub of the world.

It is what they call the epitome of a modern society, possessing the peak of whatever is already present in this world. From being the place where cutting-edge technology that can save numerous lives of patients is made; to giving birth to all the newest fashion or food trends, that are prevalent throughout the Continent.

The Capital of Eden is the powerhouse state, that runs most of the continent's economic rise.

It's such a significant landmark that, even most celebrities of this world, like singers, actors, and politicians, live in the capital. And almost all major companies bases of operations are situated in Eden.

Because of that, all the people living on the continent who have massive dreams and aspirations of making it big in life, move to the capital to succeed in their goals, which makes the capital the ultimate central hub of the world.

The world itself is actually just like Earth and lives in the age of smartphones, AI, democracy, gender rights, etc.

I would actually even say that Earth is a bit behind compared to Aurora, as there are better systems implemented here that support the livelihood of the people, like free medical healthcare and education, and low rates of corruption and criminal activity.

It's like the ideal world the people back on Earth are still trying to achieve, with a steady population rate and little to no large-scale man-made disasters like pollution outbreaks and constant war.

The people of this world have somehow built a system, where all of those problems can be monitored and avoided.

And not to mention, that not only are they ahead of Earth in terms of paving the path for a better future, they are also more technologically advanced.

They don't have talking robots that cook your dishes or flying cars, like one would think about when they imagine a technically advanced civilization. And rather have, advanced technology that helps the numerous races that live here, have a better and more convenient life.

Like for example, there are long streches of canals that travel under the city for any race that prefer traveling in water then land, that work like underground subways. Or how there are specialized private vehicles that transport races like lamias and centaurs who struggle to get in normal cars and bikes.

There are even multiple brands and companies, that cater to the requirements of a specific race.

If you're from the ogre race, and have body that's bigger then the average human, then there's a chain of shops that sell clothing, specially tailored for the ogre race. Or if you're a centaur, and can't take a shit in a normal western toilet, then there's a company that sells toilets, specifically made for accommodating a centaur's body.

Just like that, the whole continent is full of measures and innovations that help all the races here, live a convenient life, that differs no less than the average human's.

It's quite fascinating to think that they've managed to make life easy for everyone and have a peaceful society, even though they've got over a hundred different races. While Earth is still trying to figure out how to stop hate crimes based on race, when they only have a few races in total.

It honestly makes me want to stay in this world where I feel more safe, rather than go back to that mess of a planet, that's going to self-implode on itself one day.

Sigh...That's enough sucking another world's dick, and shitting on my own planet for the day. I need to move on.

Chapter 4: Humans...The Race That Can Fuck Em All

Like I mentioned before, there are numerous races that live here.

Most of them possess the common traits of humans, like two arms, two legs and two eyes, and some extra animalistic traits like tails, fur, horns and the like.

While some have more animal traits, then their human traits, like the lamia, which has a snake's body for its legs, and only has the upper torso of a human.

Other than the fact that they all look a bit different, they still act and behave the same way humans do, and don't possess any animalistic behaviour like aggressiveness and blood thirst.

Even their diets are similar to humans, as minotaurs who you would think would be herbivores due to their race being derived from a cow or bull, eat meat. And there are even some shark girls, with sharp teeth that are meant for tearing apart meat, who are pure vegetarians because they choose to be so.

It's a free country, so you can eat whatever you want, be whatever you want, love whoever you want, and fuck whatever race you want.

...Wait. That's not true.

I was going to say that all races could mingle with one another, romantically and sexually. But sadly, I found out that's not true.

Apparently, in this world, a member of a certain race can only have a member of the same race as their beloved partner or companion, which simply means that there are very few mixed couples walking around.

When I first read about it, when the topic was mentioned in the story, I thought it was because of some tradition to keep the blood in the same race, and some typical racism against other races.

But it was later explained that it isn't so, and it is because their brains are rigged in a way, that makes them unable to feel any romantic or sexual emotions towards the members of different races.

Just like how normal animals don't go around mating with different species, the demi-humans here also don't see other races as potential mates and prefer partners that belong to the same race as them.

I read that the reason they feel this way has something to do with their instincts, which makes only members of their own race, attractive and loveable. But the scientists of this world are still trying to figure out the exact reason as to why it's like this.

But just because demi-humans can't see other species as romantic interests, it doesn't mean that all the different races are alienated from each other.

In fact, everyone mingles and interacts with one another as if there were no difference between them, just like normal humans. And they even know to appreciate the beauty of another race of demihumans, and can verbally describe why they find them attractive.

But even if they can understand the beauty of another race, they just can't be attracted to them as a member of the opposite sex and can at most be an avid admirer.

Like how you would admire a beautiful painting, but have no intention of sticking your dick in it just because it looks pretty. It's similar to that.

But even though I say that there are no races that are attracted to one another, there is actually one single exception, which is also the same race I belong to.

The human race.

Ordinary humans, unlike other demihumans, can be attracted to other races. And at the same time, they can attract the affection and feelings of other demihumans.

They don't have any psychological barriers, blocking them from viewing demihumans as potential future partners, and vice versa.

They also don't have any physical reproductive barriers, meaning that little hybrid babies can be born between a human and a demi-human.

The book said that the scientists of this world think it has something to do with, humans being the progenitor of all races, thousands of years ago. But just like the previous theory about demihumans, scientists don't have an exact answer to this phenomenon and are still debating it to this day.

But even though the human race can show affection and love, and freely reproduce with the demihumans, most couples in this world are in common-race relationships.

It's mostly because humans comprise 60% of the entire population, and some other factors, like how their lifestyles, behaviour and physical bodies, aren't compatible with one another.

And also primarily because a person, no matter what race they belong to, are more attracted to people who have the same physical features as them, like how a harpy would be attracted to another harpy's wings. Or, how humans would prefer someone with no animalistic or alien features on them.

I wouldn't say that different-race couples are rare, as it's mentioned that there are a few of them out there, who love one another so much they don't care about what race they belong to, and want to be with one another. But it's just that, they aren't seen as much as common-race couples.

As for how demi-humans came to be and the history of this world, it's very vaguely given in the book.

Apparently, thousands of years ago, humans were the first intelligent creatures to come about, that could think and have ideas. They could considered to be the neanderthals of this world, who started the civilization of the planet by discovering fire and making stone weapons.

Much later on, those humans slowly started to evolve strange characteristics, that the humans of the past didn't possess, like wings and scales.

And they started to make their own groups based on similar characteristics, which is how different species of demi-humans were created.

The reason they started to evolve and mutate is also unclear, and is one of the most studied topics in this world, which baffles even the smartest scientists till they start balding.

As demi-humans started to group with members of their own race in large numbers, they started to make their own clans and kingdoms, and have their own territories, similar to how countries were made on Earth.

And just like back on Earth, they had their own wars for resources, territory, and power, between different species.

Some clans created alliances, with races that had similar goals and interests. And some countries and clans had lifetime grudges with one another, and constantly had wars between them to find out who was superior.

But as time went on, the new leaders of the different clans slowly started to realise that the world could be a much better place if they decided to handle everything in a much more civilized and peaceful manner, where instead of indulging in wars to obtain resources, they started to trade with one another and help each other out in times of need.

Slowly but surely, by putting behind past grudges and creating new ties, the world started to integrate with one another. And finally, after centuries of effort to bring about improvements to society, a Utopia was created where all species, no matter what race or status, lived while being guided by societal norms, and regulated by strict rules that favored not one, but everyone.

And all of this knowledge I have about this world and the people living in it, came from this mysterious white book. Or, to be exact, this novel I have in my hands.

Chapter 5: Not Your Typical Past

This novel is also what brought me to this world, or at least was the catalyst or tool used to lure and transport me here. If this novel hadn't come into my life, I'd probably be at home right now, making breakfast for my sister.

Speaking of my sister, she's the one who started this whole chain of events that led me to getting my hands on this novel. If I hadn't walked in on her that very day, I definitely wouldn't be in this strange world.

But at the same time, if I hadn't gone to her room that day at that specific time, and seen what she was doing, we wouldn't have the relationship we have now.

Without that moment, we would have been more distant than strangers walking by, even though we were blood-related siblings.

So, if you'd ask me, if I'd still do exactly what I did in the past, knowing that I'll be transported to this world, I'd still say that I wouldn't change a thing, as it's the very reason me and my sister are close.

Much closer than how we were before.

Now, if I had to explain the chain of events that led me to this place, I'd have to start by briefly talking about my past, which is not as normal as everyone would think it would be, since I now appear like a normal functioning member of society in everyone's eyes. And don't look any different from everyone else, who've lived very different lives from me.

My past is well...It's not the most pleasant one.

To be brief and concise, as I don't really like recalling it, I should start off by saying that I was separated from my birth parents at a very young age.

I was separated, or to be more exact 'taken', at a stage of my life where I could barely speak any full sentences or remember the faces of my parents very well. So for the majority of my life, I lived without the guidance and protection of my parents, and was left to fend off on my own.

My life after the separation was, to say the least, extremely cruel and tax-bearing. It's something that would cause, even the most iron-blooded men to have mental trauma for the rest of their life, and never be a normal functioning human once again.

Well, those strong-willed men would first have to survive what I had to go through and live, which is highly unlikely as all the peers I had with me at that time, have returned to the earth, where they rest for an eternity.

As sad as it may seem, I'm pretty sure they were at peace when they passed on, knowing that they don't have to live through that cruel life anymore.

...Now moving on from the dead.

After spending more than seventeen years of my life in that manner, from basically a child to a fully grown adult, I finally managed to escape from that vicious cycle and returned to the ordinary and mundane world, where I was first taken away from.

I honestly had no idea about what to do when I escaped that life, as freedom and a carefree life without having to worry about the safety of my own life every minute, were completely new to me.

That peaceful world I re-entered was unfamiliar territory, and I had no place in it.

The only place that I could return to, that I vaguely recalled, was to my family, whom I was taken away from.

After spending more than a decade of my life without even thinking about my parents, as I was too busy keeping my own life intact, I lost all the familial belonging and love I once had towards my parents.

Through the passage of time, the same people I used to call father and mother in the past, were just people who were a little closer than strangers to me, so I was hesitant to meet them.

But even still, it was the only place left in the world where I could return too, so I decided to go back to the distant memories of a family I once had.

After tracking down my parents, I thought that it would be difficult to explain who I was to them and what I've been doing this whole time, and I was fussing over how to introduce myself to them.

But all of that was unnecessary, as the moment my mother saw me for the first time in years, when I came to introduce myself, she broke down in tears while saying the name my parents had given me in the past over and over again.

Apparently, when I asked her later about how she knew it was me, she said that she just knew the moment she saw me that I was her son she once lost, which tugged a few heartstrings in my heart, which was surprising, as I didn't think I would be able to feel that way towards them ever again.

After the warm welcome my mother and father had given me, by hugging me and crying on my shoulders for an entire hour, they asked me where I was this whole time.

Seeing that I was struggling to tell them the truth, they decided to just let it be, as it was enough for them that their son was back home again.

After that, I started living in my parents house, which they insisted on, even though I was already an adult.

I thought that I would never care about them as much as I did in the past. But as time went on and I saw how caring and loving they were towards me every day, I slowly started to have a sense of belonging and treated them like any filial son would.

But even though I was getting closer to my parents every day, we couldn't really be called a harmonious family yet, as a major factor came into play, of which I had no knowledge that it even existed.

That factor that threw a wrench in the works of becoming a normal household family, was my little sister.

Chapter 6: I Have A Little Sister?

Apparently, after years of grieving over my disappearance, they finally decided to have another child, which is my younger sister, who was in her first year of high school when I first met her a year ago.

I was a little surprised at first, as I didn't even think about having any siblings. But it made sense when I thought about it.

It even made me heave a sigh of relief, knowing that someone was there in my place, to alleviate the pain my parents felt after my disappearance.

I thought that, just like how I slowly got closer to my parents, by interacting with them on a daily basis, I could get closer to my sister as well and have a normal sibling relationship.

But I was very wrong to think that approach would work, as my sister....Well...I don't know how to say this in a nice way.

But...she was kind of a loner.

Not only was she a loner who didn't like to interact with anyone other than her parents, and liked to coop up in her room all day. She also had a severe case of social anxiety, which made her unable to interact with anyone properly without having a panic attack.

Because of that, she didn't have any friends even though she was in the prime of her life and stayed in her room all the time, other than when she had to go to school.

Honestly, the fact that she even went to school regularly with all the problems she had, was already very commendable in my mind.

So with all these issues, you could somewhat guess how she would react when she was told that she had a long-lost brother, that came back to the family and was going to live in the same house as her, which she treated as her protective fortress.

In her eyes, it was the same as basically telling her that an older man with an unclear history and background, was going to stay in the same house as her, and was even going to be sleeping in the room right next to hers.

I was told by my parents that she was fine with me coming back to the house, and was happy to welcome me back into the family. But it clearly wasn't the truth, as the only time I properly got a look at her, was when they introduced me to her for the first time.

After that, she'd stay in her room all day, trying to avoid me at all cost. And even when she saw me in the house, when she came back from school or to pick up her meal to take back to her room, she'd run away like a mouse the moment she saw me, as if I were a scary monster.

I tried many times to talk to her and see if we could work things out. But she'd run away before I could get a word in.

After a few months of trying, I had given up trying to get close to my sister, which even my parents didn't say anything about, as they too regarded it as an impossible case to crack.

One that only a miracle can help with.

But I don't know if God was listening to their prayers, because a miracle did happen, when one day an accident took place, which allowed me to have a breakthrough with my sister, and was the starting point of my relationship with her.

One day when I was home alone with my sister, I got a call from my mother saying that my sister wasn't picking up her calls, which she usually does, and was worried if anything happened to her.

She wanted me to go up to her room and directly check up on her, just in case anything happened, as she was a worrisome kid that always needed someone's eyes on her.

As my mother had asked, I went to her room and knocked on her door to call her.

I'd done this many times before, to call her for dinner or lunch which she'd usually respond with a faint 'okay' or 'coming'. That was the closest thing I got to an interaction with my sister, as the rest of the time I called out to her, she'd run off in a jiffy.

She'd usually respond very quickly, as if she wanted to quickly send me off from her room.

But this time, she didn't respond.

I knocked a few more times and loudly called out her name. But to no avail, she didn't respond in the slightest.

This made me sweat, and I started to get a little nervous, as getting no response from a kid in a closed room with several different issues usually doesn't end in a very good way.

Even though I barely knew her, and knew that she wanted nothing to do with me, she was still my little sister by blood; and I wanted nothing to happen to her, and was scared out of my mind when she didn't respond at that time.

I even vividly remember my hands and feet shaking at that moment, while my back was covered in cold sweats.

I originally never believed in God. But at that moment, I was silently reciting a prayer in the back of my mind, praying that nothing happened to her.

I don't know if it's because we were related by blood. Or because she was just a poor little high school girl, who had her own struggles at a very young age. But at that moment, I wanted nothing more in the world, other then her to be safe and sound.

Now that I think about it, it seems that even though we barely interacted with one another and met each other much later in our lives, I already treated her as my little sister who I had to protect, even if I had to put my life on the line.

I braced for any situation that could take place and twisted the door knob, which was surprisingly open, and pushed open the door, praying that nothing happened to her.

I thought of all sorts of scenarios that would take place after I opened that door, and I thought that I was ready to face anything thrown my way.

But boy was I wrong, as when I opened that door, I saw something that I wouldn't have guessed even with a gun put to my head.

Chapter 7: Shit!...My Little Sister Is A Furry!

Inside the dim room, with all the lights off and the curtains closed, I saw my sister sitting at her desk with headphones on and a blanket on her shoulders, watching something on her computer monitor.

At that time, I was relieved that she was safe and sound, and let out a sigh of relief, and relaxed my tense nerves. But that relief didn't last long, as my heart rate spiked again, when I saw what she was watching on her computer.

On her monitor screen, was some kind of game where there was text and dialogue at the bottom of the screen, with some prompts included.

And what was playing on the entire screen, was what shocked me the most.

On the screen, was what seemed to be a human girl with a snake's body below her waist, and a boy in an empty classroom. The girl was using her long snake tail to wrap around the boy, and she lifted him until his abdomen was next to her head.

She then proceeded to take off his pants until his dog was hanging down, and started to use her long tongue to suck him off.

If this 18+ scene on my little sister's computer, wasn't shocking enough, then how my sister reacted to it was even more jaw-dropping.

Since she was wearing her headphones, she couldn't hear me come in. And since I was standing right behind her, she hadn't noticed me.

Because of this, I could take my time and clearly take in the happy and excited expression my sister had on her face, while she watched this scene unfold, as if she had been waiting for it, for a long time.

I could also see my sister clicking on the prompts that would trigger the dialogue of the characters in the game, which means that she was the one in control of this whole scene, which I later on learned was how visual novels were played.

If I had walked in on my sister watching some kind of porn video or some snuff film, it would have made much more sense, as it's something all high schoolers go through in that stage of their lives.

But to see my sister, whom I thought was innocent as a mouse because of her shy demeanor, watch some kind of weird video where a snake girl was dominating a boy in a school classroom, was more than enough to short-circuit my brain.

I wanted to do nothing more than get out of her room immediately, as too many thoughts were going through my head at that time, and I needed some time and fresh air to think it out.

So, just like I planned, I rushed out of my sister's room as fast as I could.

But because of my frantic escape, I accidentally hit the switch board and turned on all the lights in the room.

I froze at that moment, and turned around, praying that somehow my sister didn't notice that the lights were on. But sadly, even though she couldn't hear anything going on because of her headset, she could still see perfectly.

Both of us stared at each other in that silent room, with dreadful looks on our faces.

One's face was so red that she looked like a little cherry, and the other was so pale that it looked like a ghost.

My sister was embarrassed that she was caught, watching something unexplainable by her long-lost brother. While I was regretting not knocking on her door harder, instead of barging into her room.

Her face only turned more red, and mine more pale, as if I didn't have a drop of blood in my face, when I saw the rest of her room, which I couldn't see before because of how dark it was.

Now that it was bright and well lit after turning on the lights, I saw that her room was full of demi-girl themed goods and merchandise.

Her cabinets were filled with figurines and sculptures of different demi-girls striking provocative poses, and her walls were covered in colourful posters of cute demi-girls.

It clearly looked to be the room of some nerd, who was obsessed with demi-girls.

At that time, I hadn't learned the term demi-girl or what my sister was interested in, and I just thought she was one of those furries, that seemed to be trending these days.

I wanted nothing, but to run out of her room and escape this awkward situation. But my legs froze, when I saw my sister trembling in embarrassment, and looking like she was going to cry her heart out.

With the amount of issues she already had, it looked like she would never recover from this accident if I left her in this room, and would have a mental trauma from this incident for the rest of her life.

Furthermore, I was sure that she would never accept me as her brother, if I left things as they were.

So I decided to deal with this situation in the best way I could think of.

That was, to show interest in this weird hobby of hers, and act like I was genuinely intrigued by it.

The only way a person with a strange hobby would be comfortable showing it off to another person, would be if that person also had the same interest, or at least was genuinely interested in learning about it, without any prior stigma.

So, I too acted like I was interested in her hobby at that moment, and walked around the room while I observed her dolls, figurines, paintings, posters, and everything related to demi-humans.

She looked like she wanted to stop me from looking around her room, out of embarrassment. But she was too afraid to say it out loud due to her anxiety issues, and she reluctantly let me be, and watched me look around her room in silence.

After getting a good look around her room, I faced my sister with a look of interest and curiosity on my face, which I made up, and started to ask about her unique hobby.

She didn't answer at first, and she looked shocked that I was even showing interest in her hobby.

I later learned from her, that she was expecting me to look at her with disgust, and start scolding her for having such hobbies. But I was really surprised, when I started to question her about her hobby with interest instead, which she didn't expect in a million years.

After endlessly pestering her with some questions I made up on the spot, she finally gave up her resistance out of nervousness, and started to answer my question in a low and timid voice, as if she were afraid that I would lash out if she said anything wrong.
